The core of Wakeham Farm is Wakeham House, an award winning house with minimalist interiors in a classical shell. with 4 bedrooms, two swimming pools and a tennis court, incorporating principles of passive solar energy. Mervin’s cottage and Billy’s Cottage are much simpler two-bedroomed cottages, which used to be lived in by farm workers, and are also available for short term holiday letting.
Billy’s cottage bookings are also handled via airbnb. Please have a look at that site to find out about prices, discounts, and availability. The web address is:

The houses are set in the middle of our 190-acre organic farm. We have a very long stretch of river bank, and visitors are welcome to fish in season (there are a few trout in the river), and indeed to camp on the farm for a day or two. There is wetland running along the river, a plethora of bird life, an excess of deer, and a plague of rabbits. Inland there are several woods, and the land is made up of small hills and valleys - so the farm feels a lot larger than it is, with many secluded places. There are no public footpaths or bridleways at all, so it is very private and secluded. It will take a long time to explore it all.
Wakeham Farm is set at the foot of the South Downs between Midhurst and Petersfield. It is close to Chichester Festival Theatre, Cowdray Park polo, Goodwood, Petworth Park, and HMS Victory.
